The European Labour Market, October 2004, revised June 2005
In a global society, under pressure from US and Asian markets, it is vital that Europeans work together to solve shared problems such as ageing population and globalisation. EU cooperation needs to focus more on supporting Member States’ effort to reform the labour market in order to make it more dynamic and flexible.
25 Member States or more – working together – can help meet the challenges of the Danish labour market and thereby boost the competitiveness of Danish businesses.
“The European Labour Market” gives a brief introduction to the development of the European labour market and presents the Confederation of Danish Employers’ (DA) main priorities for the future EU cooperation.
