About DA

The Confederation of Danish Employers, DA, is the main organisation for 11 employers’ associations in the private sector labour market.

The purpose of DA is to coordinate collective agreement negotiations and influence the political decision-making processes so that the companies’ competitiveness and access to qualified labour is optimal.

DA’s primary fields of interest are labour market policy and qualifications, working environment, collective agreement coordination and labour law, monitoring the development of the labour market in the form of analyses and collecting statistics on wages, absence through sickness, conflicts etc.

More than 25,000 companies within industry, retail, transport, the service sector and building and construction are members of one of DA’s members’ organisations.
