The Danish Model - works for you

The Danish Model and the collective agreements are of major importance to Denmark. But how does the system actually work?

What is The Danish Model more precisely? How do collective agreements work? How often are the negotiated and how is that done?

The Danish way of organising the labour market may seem complicated. One of the fundamental differences between Denmark and other countries is that in Denmark the politicians are not in charge of determing wage levels, working hours as well as conditions relating to illness, parental leave and pensions. Instead these agreements are made by the employees and the companies.

In the movie you can see how The Danish Model and collective agreements work in real life, and how collective agreements are negotiated.

The movie is a cooperation between DA and FH.
